Zina has worked alongside Osteopaths and Chiropractors who, along with a growing number of general practitioners, employers, parents and carers, realise the benefits of regular massage therapy to relieve symptoms related to stress and other medical conditions in people of all ages, including babies and pre- and post-natal women.
Zina uses a variety of techniques during a massage treatment e.g Swedish, Thai, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Hot Basalt stones or Deep Tissue, one or more of which can be used to relieve general aches and pains or to treat a particular area of the body at a deeper level or more severe conditions.
Zina also runs Baby Massage Classes for parents and care-givers of their babies from birth to 9 months of age, which promotes nurturing touch and communication through training, education and research so that parents, caregivers and children are loved, valued and respected throughout the world community.
Zina's understanding of Anatomy and Physiology spans 14 years of study and professional holistic practice through monitored assessments, continuous CPD training, and working with Essentials for Health (one of the UK's largest schools of massage, aromatherapy massage and sports massage) and the International Association of Infant Massage.
Zina is a current member of the CThA (Complementary Therapists Association : www.complementary.assoc.org.uk).
